Shayna Baszler offered a brief explanation as to why she betrayed Ronda Rousey at WWE Money in the Bank on WWE RAW.
At WWE Money in the Bank, Rousey and Baszler defended the WWE Women’s Tag Team Championship against Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez. During the bout, Baszler betrayed Rousey and cost them the titles.
On the July 3 episode of WWE RAW, Rousey came to the ring and Baszler followed. “The Baddest Woman on the Planet” demanded an explanation, and Baszler noted that the only thing she owed anyone was an apology for getting Rousey involved in the wrestling business. She emphasized that she loves the business, and she paid her dues, whereas Rousey showed up and got the fast-track to WrestleMania. Baszler also claimed that Rousey ruined wrestling for her.
Baszler also stated that she was the one person who could shut Rousey up.
Rousey kick-started a brawl with Baszler, but “The Queen of Spades” stood tall, as she nailed her former partner with a knee to the face. Baszler left the ring, and Rousey yelled after her, saying that they weren’t done.
