Angelo Dawkins says WWE’s tag team championships still look good.
In recent weeks, WWE has introduced a number of new title designs, including the WWE Women’s Championship, the Women’s World Champion, and the Undisputed WWE Universal Championship.
Speaking on The Ringer Wrestling Show, Dawkins was asked if he knew whether new tag team titles were in the works.
“Man, your guess is as good as mine. If there is, I hope. One can only hope. But nah, man, the titles that we got still look good, red and blue, you know what I’m saying? We might merge them together, you know what I’m saying? Make it purple. Red and blue make purple. But nah, they decide to change it, man, I’m all for it.
When asked about the new world title designs, Dawkins replied, “I like them. They look good. They would look good around my waist. They would good around Montez’s waist. You never know.”
The Street Profits (Ford and Dawkins) will compete in a gauntlet match for a tag team title match on the June 16 episode of WWE SmackDown. WrestleZone will have coverage of the show as it airs.
Angelo Dawkins previously said the Street Profits would never turn on each other. Check out his comments here.
