It sounds like All Elite Wrestling has made another backstage hire in former IMPACT Wrestling talent Kevin Matthews.
Last night it was reported that Jimmy Jacobs had signed with the company as a producer and started last night at AEW Dynamite in Washington, DC. But it sounds like he’s not the only one.
According to Mike Johnson of PWInsider, Kevin Matthews, who’s best known for his time as KM in IMPACT Wrestling, was backstage at AEW Dynamite last night working in a “behind the scenes capacity.”
This isn’t Matthews’ first time backstage for All Elite Wrestling, as he has also been present at some past tapings and did some work for AEW Dark and Dark: Elevation.
The exact position that Matthews has with All Elite Wrestling has yet to be confirmed.
