Finally, The Rock has come back to another video game franchise.
This morning Outright Games, in collaboration with Sony Pictures Consumer Products, announced Jumanji: Wild Adventures, the sequel to Jumanji: The Video Game, which launched in November 2019.
According to the official press release, the multi-player game will be “four times bigger, with a vast world to explore, including uncharted jungles, forgotten villages and icy mountains, even more deadly encounters and special items to unlock.”
While the last game featured online co-op, there’s no mention of that thus far, as the press release states that “players can choose to quest alone with solo play, or team up with 4-player local co-op to create the ultimate adventuring team.”
The game also features the likenesses of The Rock, Kevin Hart, Jack Back, and Karen Gillan. It’s unknown at this time if any of the four did any voice acting for the game as well.
The game is currently scheduled to launch on November 3, 2023, on Xbox, PlayStation, Switch, and PC.
