WWE SmackDown viewership increased in a noteworthy way on June 2.
Per Wrestlenomics, 2.563 million viewers tuned in on Friday, and SmackDown scored a 0.73 rating in the 18 to 49 demographic. The show ranked #1 in the 18 to 49 demographic, both among broadcast primetime and cable originals.
These numbers are up from last week, when 2.158 million viewers watched the show, and SmackDown scored a 0.52 rating in the 18 to 49 demographic.
The viewership number for the June 2 episode of WWE SmackDown is the show’s highest of 2023. The demographic rating marks a new high dating back to Christmas 2020, which had an NFL lead-in.
This week’s show featured Undisputed WWE Universal Champion Roman Reigns’ 1,000-day celebration. Plus, two Money in the Bank Qualifying matches were held on SmackDown; Zelina Vega faced Lacey Evans, and LA Knight clashed with Montez Ford.
