On May 19, WWE taped the May 26 episode of WWE SmackDown at the Colonial Life Arena in Columbia, South Carolina. WWE held a double taping due to the Night of Champions premium live event in Saudi Arabia on May 27.

- WWE United States Championship: Austin Theory (c) defeated Sheamus to retain the title after Pretty Deadly interfered.
- Raquel Rodriguez & Shotzi defeated Bayley & IYO SKY of Damage CTRL.
- Cameron Grimes defeated Ashante “Thee” Adonis; after the match, Baron Corbin came out and attacked Grimes.
- WWE Raw Women’s Champion Bianca Belair came to the ring for a promo. When Asuka attacked her from behind, Belair eventually gained the advantage.
- LA Knight defeated Rick Boogs; in a post-match promo, Knight told The Street Profits they would get smoked by him.
- AJ Styles defeated Karrion Kross (with Scarlett); Mia Yim stopped Scarlett from interfering.
- Roman Reigns, Solo Sikoa, and Jey Uso stood tall at the end of The KO Show with Kevin Owens and Sami Zayn, as The Bloodline laid them out.
