AEW Women’s World Champion Jamie Hayter is not cleared to compete.
Hayter was set to team up with Britt Baker and Hikaru Shida to face Saraya, Ruby Soho, and Toni Storm on the May 17 episode of AEW Dynamite, but AEW CEO Tony Khan announced that she has not been cleared to compete. As a result, Baker and Shida will now face Soho and Storm in a tag team match.
Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful reported that Hayter’s injury is legitimate, and there’s no word on her status beyond the May 17 episode of AEW Dynamite.
As of this writing, it’s unclear what type of injury Hayrt is dealing with and how long she will be unable to compete. WrestleZone will provide more information as it becomes available.
