IMPACT Wrestling star Jordynne Grace could hit free agency soon, according to a new report.
Grace headlined IMPACT Rebellion 2023; at the pay-per-view on April 16, she lost to Deonna Purrazzo in a match that was for the vacant IMPACT Knockouts World Championship.
Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful Select reports that, as of March, Grace was set to become a free agent. As of this writing, it’s unclear whether Grace has signed a new deal since then. At the time, IMPACT reportedly would have “ideally” liked to keep Grace with the company.
Per Sapp, in 2021, Grace signed a two-year contract after she initially signed a two-year deal in 2019. In 2018, it was leaked that Grace signed with the company, but the deal wasn’t finalized, so Grace worked without a contract for a few months. She later approached IMPACT and secured a raise over the terms the two sides originally agreed to.
Grace is a two-time Knockouts World Champion and a former IMPACT Knockouts World Tag Team Champion. She is also the inaugural IMPACT Digital Media Champion, making her the first IMPACT Knockouts Triple Crown winner. Grace won the 2022 IMPACT Year End Award for Knockout of the Year, and the won the Queen of the Mountain match at IMPACT Slammiversary 2022.
WrestleZone will provide more information as it becomes available.
