Deonna Purrazzo is the new IMPACT Knockouts World Champion.
In the main event of IMPACT Rebellion, Jordynne Grace squared off against Deonna Purrazzo for the vacant IMPACT Knockouts World Championship in the wake of Mickie James’ untimely rib injury that was announced at the end of March.
Grace displayed her power in the first half until Purrazzo hit a moonsault off the ramp to knock her down. Both women countered each other for several minutes, but Purrazzo took back over by applying her signature armbar.
Grace managed to hit her Grace Driver for a close fall, but Purrazzo turned it back around with a sunset bomb out of the corner followed by Queen’s Gambit for the three-count.
With this victory, Purrazzo is now a three-time Knockouts Champion since joining the company in 2020. Rebellion also marked her second pay-per-view main event, while it was Grace’s second consecutive main event.
