Matt Hardy will return to the Hardy Compound.
On the April 14 episode of AEW Rampage, Hardy confirmed that he and the team of Jeff Hardy, HOOK, and Isiah Kassidy will face The Firm (Ethan Page, Lee Moriarty, Big Bill, and Stokely Hathaway) in The Firm Deletion match at The Hardy Compound. With a win, Matt will free himself and Private Party (Isiah Kassidy and Marq Quen) from The Firm; the group currently holds their contracts.
Matt announced the news after a short message from his brother, Jeff Hardy, who made his return after a 10-month absence on the April 12 episode of AEW Dynamite. Jeff had been sidelined due to his June 2022 DUI arrest and subsequent suspension. He has not wrestled since AEW Double or Nothing 2022, where The Hardys defeated The Young Bucks.
The announcement did not provide a specific date for The Firm Deletion match. WrestleZone will provide more information as it becomes available.
