Billy Corgan will appear in The Muppets Mayhem.
Disney+ shared a trailer for the new original series, which will premiere on May 10. A number of celebrity cameos are featured in the trailer, including Kesha, Lil Nas X, Kevin Smith, and “Weird Al” Yankovic.
Corgan retweeted the trailer and noted that he will be appearing in the series.
The show’s description on the IMDB website reads, “Follow The Muppets’ band as they try to record their first ever album.”
Corgan is the president of the National Wrestling Alliance. In the music world, he is the lead singer and songwriter of The Smashing Pumpkins, which is kicking off a tour of Australia with “The World is a Vampire” music festival. The first event will be in Brisbane on April 15. More information is available here.
As previously announced, NWA will go on tour with The Smashing Pumpkins in the summer of 2023.
