Historian Tim Hornbaker is publishing a book about Ric Flair.
Hornbaker shared the news in a tweet and stated that the book, titled “The Last Real World Champion: The Legacy of ‘Nature Boy’ Ric Flair, will be published on September 12, 2023.
Hornbaker, the author of wrestling books such as “Death of the Territories”, also stated that the book is three years in the making.
In an interview with Greg Oliver of SLAM Wrestling, Hornbaker noted that Flair is not part of the project himself, and he expressed his aim to present Flair’s story from an independent point of view.
Flair, a two-time WWE Hall of Famer, has been involved with two books himself; he co-wrote “To Be The Man” with Keith Elliot Greenburg in 2004, and he also wrote “Second Nature: The Legacy of Ric Flair and The Rise of Charlotte”’ with Charlotte Flair in 2017.
