Bayley sent a cryptic message in the aftermath of her loss at WWE WrestleMania 39 Night One.
On April 1, Damage CTRL (Bayley, Dakota Kai, and IYO SKY) battled Becky Lynch, Trish Stratus, and Lita in a six-woman tag team match. Lynch ultimately scored the win in a hard-fought match.
The day after the match, Bayley tweeted, “And sometimes the most romantic love story comes to an end. Bye.”
It’s unclear what “The Role Model” meant with her message.
Bayley was out of action for over a year after sue suffered a torn ACL. She returned at WWE SummerSlam 2022, where she revealed the debuting Damage CTRL faction. The trio has been featured on WWE TV ever since, but they have lost a number of high-profile bouts, including the Women’s WarGames Match at Survivor Series 2022 and the six-woman tag team contest at WrestleMania 39/=.
