“The Demon” is coming back.
In a promo during the March 27 episode of WWE RAW, Finn Balor seemingly confirmed that he’ll be bringing his “Demon Balor” persona back for WrestleMania 39, where he will face Edge in a Hell in a Cell match. Balor teased that there’s nothing more dangerous that a caged demon, and he stated that his demons are always there. Flashes of “The Demon” appeared on the screen, as Balor seemingly morphed into the persona for actions of a second.
WWE then confirmed the return of “The Demon” with an updated graphic for the Hell in a Cell match, which showed the persona and listed Balor as “The Demon” Finn Balor.
Balor has teased the return of “The Demon” in recent weeks. Fans have not seen “Demon Balor” since WWE Extreme Rules 2021, where he unsuccessfully challenged Roman Reigns for the Undisputed Championship.
