Per Wrestlenomics, 2.258 million viewers watched the show on Friday. This number is down from last week, when 2.320 million viewers tuned in. SmackDown drew a 0.59 rating in the 18 to 49 demographic. The March 17 episode scored a 0.63 rating int he 18 to 49 demographic.
SmackDown ranked #10 in the 18 to 49 demographic. Wrestlenomics noted that coverage of NCAA basketball dominated TV on Friday.
This week’s episode was headlined by the “Kansas City Shwodown” between Jey Uso and Sami Zayn. Plus, Drew McIntyre battled Sheamus in a singles match. An appearance from Cody Rhodes kicked off the show, and he tried to mediate the issues between Zayn and Kevin Owens.
