New Japan Pro-Wrestling has announced the next NJPW STRONG event.
NJPW confirmed that the Resurgence pay-per-view will emanate from Walter Pyramid in Long Beach, California, on May 21. As of this writing, no wrestlers have been announced for the show yet. The event will air live on pay-per-view and be available for streaming on NJPW STRONG on Demand for NJPW World subscribers.
NJPW first held the Resurgence event in Los Angeles, California, on August 14, 2021. The show was headlined by a IWGP United States Championship match, where Hiroshi Tanahashi defeat then-champion Lance Archer. Jon Moxley and Jay White also competed at the show.
Tickets for NJPW Resurgence will go on sale on March 15, 2023.
