Liv Morgan came just inches shy of winning the 2023 Women’s Royal Rumble, and although she didn’t win, that hasn’t stopped her hunger for defeating Rhea Ripley in the ring.
Speaking backstage following the February 24, 2023 episode of WWE SmackDown, Morgan was asked about coming close to victory in matches like the Royal Rumble and Elimination Chamber. Morgan said that while she was inches away from a win, she can’t help but think about Rhea Ripley.
Morgan went on to say that he understands why someone like Dominik Mysterio loves her, and that some might think no one in their right mind would want to face her, but that’s exactly why she wants to do it next week on WWE SmackDown.
“Some people might even say that Rhea seems unstoppable, and that no one in their right mind would ever consider challenging her,” Morgan said. “And that’s exactly why I’m going to do it. I challenge Rhea Ripley to a match next week. Some might say that’s crazy, some might even say that that is insane. But Megan, that is exactly what I live for.”
