The March 3 episode WWE SmackDown will feature the return of “The Tribal Chief”.
On the February 24 episode, Paul Heyman announced that reigning Undisputed Universal Champion Roman Reigns will be back on SmackDown the following week. Heyman noted that, if Jimmy Uso doesn’t “handle” with his brother Jey, whose loyalty to The Bloodline has been up in the air since WWE Royal Rumble, the champion will do it himself.
At the end of the show on Friday, Sami Zayn confronted Jimmy, and they had a heated exchange. Jey appeared, and the distraction let Jimmy cheap-shot Zayn. But when Jimmy looked at Jey, Zayn took advantage of the situation and rocked Jimmy with a Helluva Kick. Solo Sikoa came down, so Zayn left the ring. The show ended with Jey standing by himself on the outside.
Elsewhere on the show, Rhea Ripley will face Liv Morgan a singles match. Ripley, the winner of the 2023 Women’s Royal Rumble Match, will challenge Charlotte Flair for the SmackDown Women’s Championship at WrestleMania 39, so she will aim to gain more momentum when she faces her former tag team partner on Friday. Plus, Shayna Baszler and Ronda Rousey will clash with Tegan Nox and Natalya. Baszler defeated Natalya on Friday night, but Nox saved her from a post-match beatdown by “The Queen of Spades” and Rousey.
