A big title change happened on this week’s NWA Powerrr.
In the first match of the February 14 episode of Powerrr, Jordan Clearwater put his NWA World Television Championship on the line in an open challenge. Thom Latimer ultimately answered and went on to defeat Clearwater for the gold.

This title change marks the end of Clearwater’s first reign, which began at Hard Times 3 in November. He defeated AJ Cazana in the finals of a tournament for the title after Tyrus, the previous champion, utilized the Lucky 7 rule to challenge for the world title at Hard Times 3. With the win, Latimer captured his first singles title in NWA; he is a one-time NWA World Tag Team Champion.
Latimer recently beat Fodder in a Singapore Cane match at NWA’s Nuff Said pay-per-view, and Clearwater was not on the card.
