Rhea Ripley has made her choice.
“The Eradicator” won the Women’s Royal Rumble match at WWE Royal Rumble. In doing so, she earned a title shot of her choosing at WrestleMania 39. On the January 30 episode of WWE RAW, Ripley came to the ring to announce her decision.
Ripley discussed her victory before she quickly turned her attention to Charlotte Flair, the reigning SmackDown Women’s Champion. She advised Flair to enjoy people bowing down to her for now, as they’ll soon be rising for her. Ripley then told Flair that she’s going to put her in her place, and the powerhouse firmly declared that she chose Flair as her WrestleMania opponent.

The bout will be the first rematch of a singles bout between two women in WWE history. Flair won the Royal Rumble in 2020, and Ripley, the reigning NXT Women’s Champion at the time, challenged her to a match at WrestleMania 36. Flair then beat her to win the gold.
Flair won the SmackDown Women’s Championship by defeating Ronda Rousey on the December 30 episode of WWE SmackDown. She will defend the title against Sonya Deville on the February 3 episode of SmackDown.
