Bushiroad CEO Takaaki Kidani comments on the rumors surrounding Sasha Banks.
Banks has been absent from WWE since she and Naomi walked out on the May 17 episode of WWE RAW and the company subsequently suspended the duo. Since then, Varnado has been focusing on other projects, and she recently wrapped filming for a movie.
PWInsider previously reported that Banks (Mercedes Varnado) is scheduled to be at NJPW Wrestle Kingdom 17 on January 4. Fightful Select also reported that Banks’ NJPW deal “is a go”, and the two sides reached an agreement as early as the end of November.
In an interview with Yahoo Sports, Kidani addressed the reports by stating, “There is a possibility that she will come to the dome.”
It should be noted that Kidani did not specifically mention Banks during the interview. Bushiroad is the parent company of NJPW and Stardom, and Banks’ deal would reportedly include a Stardom show.
