Bayley is looking forward to seeing if Dominik Mysterio can live up to the bold claim he just made.
During a recent interview with Riju Dasgupta for SportsKeeda, Bayley was asked about Dominik Mysterio’s recent proclamation that he’s this generation’s Eddie Guerrero. Bayley said that it’s definitely a courageous comment to make, but now he needs to meet the expectations he just set for himself.
“I think that’s a very bold statement and if he’s going to say something like that, he must truly feel that way,” she stated. “And I’m excited to see what he does with that because that’s a very risky thing to put out there. He has to live up to it now, but we’ll see. He has greatness in his blood, so we’ll see what he can do with it.”
Bayley also spoke about potentially being inspired by The Bloodline and said that she loves that group, but Damage CTRL wants to stand out on its own.
“I don’t want to emulate anybody. I love the Bloodline, love the Usos, but we want to be our own [thing]. We want to be remembered for what we did and how we stood on our own and carved our own path,” Bayley said. “All we’re focused on is winning and staying at the top and really showing the rest of the division how things should have been going this whole time.”
