New Japan Pro-Wrestling held its Declaration of Power event on October 10, and the show featured a few major developments.
NJPW President Takami Ohbari officially introuced the NJPW WORLD TV Championship and noted that it would be intended for younger talent. The title will have an emphasis on speed, as each match will have a 15-minute time limit. Every title match will be shared on NJPWs social media channels, and a tournament to crown the inaugural champion will conclude at Wrestle Kingdom 17.

Elsewhere on the show, Los Ingobernables de Japon gained a new member when Titan of CMLL helped the group during a match against the United Empire. He asked to join the stable, and the members responded by raising their fists in the air. As result, he officially became the newest member of LIJ. Titan has competed for NJPW through the company’s partnership with CMLL since 2013. He recently participated in the 2022 Best of the Super Juniors.
