IMPACT Wrestling announced a partnership with the New York-based professional arena football team the Albany Empire on Saturday, with the partnership acting in conjunction with two shows the company has planned in the area.
The two shows are set to take place on Friday & Saturday, October 7-8, 2022, and will be held at the Albany Armory, the first of which is IMPACT’s Bound for Glory, one of the biggest shows of the year for IMPACT Wrestling and an event that will be headlined by the main event of Josh Alexander defending the IMPACT World Championship against 2-time former World Champion Eddie Edwards.
Prior to the start of both the Friday and Saturday show, a contingent of players from the Albany Empire will be on-site for a fan-focused, pre-show extravaganza. Brandon Sesay, the Empire captain, will be at the IMPACT show, along with the Championship Trophy that the indoor football league team won as the National Arena League (NAL) Champions in 2021 and 2022. In addition, Empire mascots Jack and Mac will also be at the IMPACT show.
Fans looking to take part in the festivities can get their photos taken ringside with Sesay, the NAL Championship Trophy and the mascots during the pre-show event, which is set to run from 6:30-7:30 p.m. EST. Tickets for both shows are available now for both the Friday and the Saturday show.
