Logan Paul And Roman Reigns To Meet Face To Face On 10/7 Season Premiere Of WWE SmackDown

A big segment has been made official for the season premiere of WWE SmackDown.

WWE has announced that Logan Paul and WWE Undisputed Universal Champion Roman Reigns will meet face-to-face on the October 7 edition of SmackDown.

While the episode will serve as the go-home to Extreme Rules, Paul and Reigns won’t compete against each other until November 5 in Saudi Arabia at WWE Crown Jewel. Reigns was recently a guest on the Impaulsive podcast, which set up a press conference on September 17 where it was confirmed that Logan Paul will challenge for WWE’s top prize for the first time at Crown Jewel.

Plus, Ricochet will face Solo Sikoa in a singles mach. The former Intercontinental Champion has been feuding with the newest member of The Bloodline in recent weeks. Sikoa and Sami Zayn defeated Ricochet and Madcap Moss in a tag team match on the September 30 episode.

As previously announced, Sheamus will challenge Gunther for the WWE Intercontinental Championship in a rematch from WWE Clash at the Castle. Sheamus confronted Gunther and Imperium on the September 30 episode, and the trio beat him up.

The updated card is as follows:

  • WWE Intercontinental Championship: GUNTHER (c) vs. Sheamus
  • Ricochet vs. Solo Sikoa
  • Roman Reigns and Logan Paul have a face-to-face confrontation

WrestleZone will have coverage of the show as it airs on Friday.
