Bron Breakker’s next challenger will be determined on next week’s WWE NXT 2.0.
WWE has announced that Tyler Bate will face JD McDonagh on the September 20 episode to determine the new number one contender to NXT Champion Bron Breakker. Breakker has defeated both men recently, but neither Bate or McDonagh are ready to step away from the title picture, effectively renewing their NXT UK rivalry. Breakker defeated Bate at NXT Worlds Collide to unify his title with the latter’s NXT UK Championship.
In the women’s division, Wendy Choo will take on Cora Jade, plus Toxic Attraction will compete against Ivy Nile and Tatum Paxley. We’ll also see Axiom and Nathan Frazer battle in the second match of their best-of-three series. Elsewhere on the show, Von Wagner will battle Sanga.
As previously noted, Oro Mensah will make his NXT 2.0 debut.
