Tony Khan: Jon Moxley’s All Out Status, CM Punk Will Be Addressed On 8/31 Dynamite

Tony Khan promises an update on Jon Moxley‘s status leading into All Out and his controversial win over CM Punk.

Wednesday’s episode of Busted Open Radio featured an appearance from AEW President Tony Khan, who commented on Jon Moxley’s decisive win over CM Punk to become the Undisputed AEW World Champion. Khan said that the situation left plenty of uncertainty, but this week’s episode of Dynamite will offer some insight into what Jon Moxley does next.

“Fascinating times. It’s official — Jon Moxley is the AEW Undisputed World Champion. Tonight on AEW Dynamite, we’re going to learn a bit more about what the future holds for Jon Moxley, what the future holds for the World Championship, specifically the World Championship this weekend at All Out. We’ll learn a lot more and we’re going to follow up on what happened last week in the Jon Moxley and CM Punk championship match.

“I totally agree with you, Dave. When you look at the replays and the match again, it raises a lot of questions. One of them is maybe, ‘Did [CM] Punk come to the ring too quickly?’ Was he too eager to get in there and fight? Well, we’ll look at that tonight and talk about it tonight. There’s a lot to talk about, a lot to watch, and certainly a lot of great wrestling action on the show tonight, in addition to that dream trios match. I think we spend a whole show previewing [that one].”

A recent report from F4WOnline.com suggested Jon Moxley and CM Punk will meet in a rematch at All Out, but neither competitor is confirmed for a match at this time.
