Kurt Angle On His Return To WWE RAW: It Was Great, I Had Fun

WWE Hall of Famer Kurt Angle reflects on his return to WWE RAW.

Angle appeared on the August 29 episode of the show and was briefly recruited by the Alpha Academy before the Street Profits came to his rescue. After the latter duo won their match, Angle drank milk with them.

In a WWE Digital Exclusive after the show, Angle described how the Street Profits gave him a “weird” drink, so he offered them a better alternative in the form of milk.

“I drank the milk,” said Angle. “They tried to give me something that was really weird. It was really hard to swallow, and I spit it out and I gave them a better drink, milk.”

When asked to describe what it was like to be back, Angle stated that he enjoyed it, and he noted that everyone was welcoming.

“Oh, it was great. The fans are awesome, the boys and the girls here, they welcomed me back with a big reception. It’s just been a lot of fun. It reminds me of the old days.

As for Gable trying to recruit him to Alpha Academy, Angle pointed out that everyone would probably want to have him as a coach.

“Those guys are always gonna wanna recruit me,” said Angle. “I’m the Olympic gold medalist. Anybody’s gonna want me as a coach. But I’m glad the Street Profits won.”
