Chelsea Green came up short when she recently challenged for the NWA World Women’s Championship, but she’s ready for another chance to win the gold.
“The Hot Mess” challenged Kamille for the title on the July 26 episode of NWA Powerrr, but the champion emerged victorious. In an interview with MuscleManMalcolm, Green was asked when fans can expect to see her win the championship. She responded by noting that she is annoyed that she hasn’t captured the title yet, but she’s “always ready” for another shot.
“Honestly I thought you were gonna see me this week with the Burke over my shoulder,” said Green. “So I’m really annoyed that you are not. But I’m here to say, Billy Corgan, I’m always ready for another shot. So if anyone wants to give me a shot, I promise you I will not let the people down because that’s what the people need. That’s what they want is to see Chelsea Green as the NWA Women’s Champion. They don’t need Kamille Whatever-house, right? One time I was in a triple threat, and I didn’t get pinned, so I really should have been the new champion.”
Outside of the NWA, Green and Purrazzo won the IMPACT Knockouts Tag Team Championship on August 12.
