Paul “Triple H” Levesque is now at the helm of WWE creative, and this new era kicked off with the July 25 episode of WWE RAW. Before the show, he reportedly spoke at a talent meeting.
On July 22, Vince McMahon announced his retirement from the company. Stephanie McMahon and Nick Khan were subsequently named as co-Chief Executive Officers. On July 25, Triple H was named as the head of creative in the aftermath of Vince McMahon’s departure.
Sean Ross Sapp of Fightful reports that “The Game” spoke with talent at a meeting at the RAW taping on Monday. There, Triple H, who is also the Executive Vice President of Talent Relations, reportedly promised that there would be more transparency between his department and the talent, which some had felt to be lacking previously. Per Ross Sapp, he stated that he wants to have open lines of communication for the talent, who had to wait hours in an effort to speak with Mr. McMahon in years past. Another highlight was that Triple H stated that he wants work to be more fun moving forward.
Overall, Ross Sapp cited sources who noted that the meeting went “really well,” and there’s “a lot of optimism” regarding the chance in creative.
