Rapper Kevin Gates has made his AEW debut.
During AEW Dynamite: Fyter Fest Week 2, Swerve in Our Glory held a Championship Celebration after winning the AEW World Tag Team Championship on July 13. During the segment, Kevin Gates appeared in the front row.
Tony Nese and “Smart” Mark Sterling interrupted the celebration to announce they were looking for petition signatures to get Swerve Strickland removed from AEW’s roster. Gates, who Strickland invited to the celebration, refused to sign and would come across the barricade to punch Nese. Sterling would turn around to eat a cake in the face courtesy of Strickland.
