Liv Morgan On Her SmackDown Women’s Title Win: It’s Everything, I’ve Worked My Entire Life For This

Liv Morgan is the new WWE SmackDown Women’s Champion, and she thanked her fans for their support throughout her journey to the top.

Morgan won the Women’s Money in the Bank ladder match at WWE Money in the Bank. She cashed in the contract later in the same show and pinned Ronda Rousey to win the gold.

In an interview with Ariel Helwani of BT Sport, Morgan discussed her victory and stated that it meant everything to her because she’s been chasing this dream for a long time.

“This is everything,” said Morgan. “There’s no words. No words to describe this. This is everything. I can’t believe this. I mean I can believe it, but I’ve wanted this my whole entire life so it’s overwhelming and it’s surreal but I feel incredible. This is the feeling that I’ve been searching my entire life for.”

Morgan then described how she has lost her confidence at times, but her fans always lifted her up, so she expressed her happiness that she could give them something to believe in.

“I’ve lost confidence a couple times throughout this journey,” said Morgan. “I don’t wanna say I’ve lost hope because I’ve never lost hope, but there were times where I thought maybe this wasn’t in the cards for me, no matter how much I’ve thought that I’ve earned it. So to have it and to give this to my fans, I did this so much for you guys. You guys believed in me when I gave you nothing to believe in. And so now I’ve given you something to believe in because we did it and I’m your new women’s champion.

The new champion also emphasized that winning the title felt surreal, and she made it clear that she won’t give it up easily.

“I’ve worked my whole entire life for this, Ariel,” said Morgan. “It doesn’t feel real to have it in my hands, even though I’m holding it. Even though I see it, I feel it, I can’t believe it’s mine. You’re gonna have to kill me to get this out of my hands.”
