Orange Cassidy vs. Ethan Page Set For 6/29 AEW Dynamite Blood & Guts, TBS Title Bout Also Announced

Orange Cassidy will be in action on the June 29 edition of AEW Dynamite.

AEW president Tony Khan has announced that “Freshly Squeezed” will face Ethan Page in a singles match on the special “Blood & Guts” edition of the show. Page’s manager Dan Lambert issued the challenge for the match and stated that Cassidy epitomized the “lazy undersized” wrestles AEW fans idolize. Cassidy came up short against Will Ospreay in a buzzworthy bout at AEW x NJPW Forbidden Door on June 26.

In a tweet on June 28, Page stated that Wednesday’s show is special to him, as it will be the first time his kids and his “Michigan fam” sees him on the big stage.

AEW also announced that Christian Cage will appear live on the show. Wednesday’s event will be headlined by the Blood & Guts Match between the Jericho Appreciation Society and the Blackpool Combat Club.

Update: After TBS Champion Jade Cargill’s publicist Stokely Hathaway issued an open challenge on behalf of the champion, Tony Khan announced a title match for the show; Cargill will defend the title against Leila Grey.

The updated card is as follows:

  • Orange Cassidy vs. Ethan Page (with Dan Lambert)
  • TBS Championship: Jade Cargill (c) vs. Leila Grey
  • Blood & Guts Match: The Jericho Appreciation Society (Chris Jericho, Daniel Garcia, Jake Hager, Angelo Parker, and Matt Menard) vs. Blackpool Combat Club (Jon Moxley, Wheeler Yuta and Claudio Castagnoli), Eddie Kingston, Santana, and Ortiz
  • Christian Cage to appear live

WrestleZone will have coverage of the show as it airs on Wednesday.
