Madcap Moss believes he has hit his stride, just in time for his Last Laugh Match against Happy Corbin on the June 17 episode of WWE SmackDown.
Moss has been in WWE‘s system for several years, but he’s finally receiving his big break as a singles star on the blue brand. On Friday night, Moss will compete in his home state of Minnesota when WWE travels to the Target Center. Moss also played college football for the University of Minnesota, so he has a strong connection with the state.
In an interview with Chip Scoggins of the Star Tribune, Moss discussed his recent run and stated that he’s looking forward to his homecoming.
“I’m really starting to hit my stride and having the time of my life,” said Moss. “I’m very, very excited to be there. I think it’s going to be one of the most memorable nights of my life.”
Moss also emphasized his excitement ahead of his ability to show the Minnesota fans how much he has accomplished since he graduated.
“I’m really excited to be able to show Minnesota what I have done with myself since being away for 10 years,” Moss said.
“You do have to get out of your own head and let your personality come through,” Moss said. “There are times when that’s been difficult for me. Most wrestlers will probably tell you that when they have found their voice is when they can kind of be a version of themselves.”
