Matt Hardy: Jeff’s Situation Is Much Bigger Than Wrestling, I Just Want Him In A Good Place

All Elite Wrestling’s Matt Hardy had a very real conversation today with Jon Alba on his podcast regarding his brother Jeff Hardy.

During today’s episode of the Extreme Life Of Matt Hardy podcast, Matt Hardy spoke in-depth about the situation with his brother Jeff Hardy that took place this week. Matt stressed the point that this situation is much bigger than professional wrestling as the most important thing he’s concerned with is his brother’s health and well-being.

“This whole week and this whole discussion about my brother is much, much bigger than pro wrestling,” Matt Hardy said. “This is a point where all I’m concerned about is Jeff’s health and his well-being, and I just want him in a good, safe place, and that’s all I’m concerned about. Whatever it’s going to take for him to get there is what I want for him. I was very saddened, and the actual word that I said was that it was very disheartening, the events that happened, but I support my brother 100 percent, and I’m going to pull for him. I’m going to give him as much support as I can to help him be as healthy and as well as he can possibly be.”

Matt also addressed how Jeff is doing after the arrest, noting that he’s very remorseful right now. Matt said Jeff is very down on himself and needs to know that what he did was terrible, but also needs to know that there are plenty of people that love him. Matt added that Jeff needs to want to help himself, and he’ll succeed if he puts all that he can into getting healthy.
