Chris Jericho Has Never Lost A Hair vs. Hair Match, Plans On Staying Undefeated On Dynamite

Chris Jericho is at risk of losing his hair, but the odds are looking good for him so far.

To continue the longstanding rivalry between Jericho Appreciation Society and Eddie Kingston, the former AEW World Champion will take on Ortiz on Wednesday’s Dynamite in a Hair vs. Hair match.

Chris Jericho took to his YouTube channel on Tuesday to remind fans that he is 2-0 in Hair vs. Hair matches.

“Let me give you a little bit of a Wizard history lesson. May 29, 1993, I won my first ever hair versus hair match when I shaved Cavernicola bald in the middle of Arena, Mexico. Now you might not have heard of Cavernicola, but I guarantee you have heard of Kevin Nash, one of the biggest stars in the history of this business. Well, I cut his hair August 18, 2003, and went 2-0 in hair versus hair matches.

“And now this Wednesday, June 15, 2022, live from Dynamite in St. Louis, I have my third hair versus hair match against you, Ortiz. […] And the reality is this: I’m going undefeated in hair versus hair matches. This Wednesday, I’m going to beat you, and I’m going to shave your head, and I’m going to burn your face. Why? Because I’m a wizard. See you on Wednesday, monkey.”
