First Woman Qualifies For Women’s Money In The Bank Match On 6/10 WWE SmackDown

Lacey Evans‘ return was a great one for the superstar, as she stepped into the ring on the June 10 episode of WWE SmackDown and qualified for the Women’s Money in the Bank match when she defeated Xia Li.

In the bout between the two superstars, it was Evans — who was participating in her first match since February 2021 — that came out on top, ending things the Women’s Right shortly after taking a kick to the guts and tossing Li into the ropes. The win makes Evans the first woman to clinch her spot into the match, and immediately catapults her back into the title picture after her lengthy absence from the company.

Lacey was out for the majority of 2021 due to her most recent pregnancy, and several weeks ago, new vignettes began to run on Friday Night SmackDown giving a more detailed look at the person behind the character.
