WWE SmackDown viewership increased ahead of WWE Hell in a Cell.
According to Brandon Thurston of Wrestlenomics, 1.939 million viewers watched the show on Friday, and SmackDown scored a 0.47 rating (613,000 viewers) in the 18 to 49 demographic. SmackDown ranked #2 in the key demographic on the night. Coverage of the NHL Conference Finals dominated cable on Friday.
The numbers for the June 3 episode were up from last week’s numbers , when 1.878 million viewers watched the show and SmackDown drew a 0.43 rating in the same demographic.
Smackdown ranked #2 on television overall on the day in P18-49.

This week’s episode featured a six-man tag team bout where Drew McIntyre, Kofi Kingston, and Xavier Woods faces Butch, Ridge Holland, and Sheamus. In the main event, The Usos defended the Undisputed WWE Tag Team Championship against Shinsuke Nakamura and Riddle.
