Was Ezekiel just paying tribute to his departed older brother the entire time that “Elias” was a WWE Superstar? Becky Lynch and Kevin Owens think so.
Another week, another desperate attempt by Kevin Owens to try and unravel the true origin of Ezekiel, the supposed brother of Elias.
Since the Monday Night Raw following WrestleMania 38, Kevin Owens has been trying to reveal that Ezekiel, the new Monday Night Raw Superstar claiming to be the younger brother of fellow Superstar, Elias, is a liar and is actually just Elias himself incognito.

Now, just before their match at WWE Hell in a Cell, Kevin Owens has come up with a new theory regarding the origins of Ezekiel, and this time, he has some support as Becky Lynch, on the latest episode of WWE Raw Talk, bonded with him over the possibility that Ezekiel may just have been paying tribute to his older brother Elias that passed away before he could make it to WWE.
“Ezekiel, maybe he was born [with the given name of] Ezekiel and his brother’s name was Elias. But, something happened to Elias, we don’t know what happened to Elias. So then when he came to WWE, he called himself ‘Elias’ in dedication to his brother, but then he went away and when he came back, he just shaved off his beard and started calling himself ‘Ezekiel,’ but he was Ezekiel the whole time,” Kevin said.
Becky Lynch chimed in, essentially regurgitating the same conspiracy theory Kevin just spouted at Sarah Schreiber, “I mean, [Kevin] made it very clear,” she said. “Ezekiel — he was born Ezekiel, but he had an older brother. His brother’s name was Elias but something happened to Elias, we don’t know what happened. Then, when he came to WWE, he called himself ‘Elias’ in dedication to his brother, but then he went away and when he came back, he shaved off his beard and started calling himself ‘Ezekiel,’ but he was Ezekiel the whole time.”
