MLW Fusion Results – May 26, 2022
MSL and Microman arrive at the venue in the Micromobile and see a crowd cheering for them. Cesar Duran’s goons give MSL a note, and it says that if Microman loses his match on the show, he’s gone from MLW.
Davey Richards defeated 5150’s Danny Rivera
Richards nearly won after connecting with a side kick and German suplex, followed by a lariat. Rivera kicked out at two, so Richards picked him back up and hit a Gotch-style piledriver for the win.
After the match, Richards spoke with Rich Bocchini and said he’s been on a roll, but losing to Alex Hammerstone made him hungrier. Richards then called out Alex Kane for an Openweight Championship match.
New participants for the Battle Riot match are announced. The new participants are:
- EJ Nduka
- Jacob Fatu
- Mini Abismo Negro
- Budd Heavy
- Matt Cross
- Ross Von Erich

Cesar Duran is training for his match and the Von Erichs come in and ask for a title match. Duran ignores them and wants to train, but Ross says they were being nice, so they’ll do this the hard way. Marshall punches a board out of Duran’s goon’s hands and Cesar tells them to get out.
Microman, Aerostar and El Dragon defeated Arez, TJP and Mini Abismo Negro
Microman avoided a Mamba Splash by TJP and hit him with a 619, then he countered a piledriver attempt by Mini Abismo Negro and rolled him up for the win.
A promo for Killer Kross airs, accompanied by an instrumental reminiscent of “Ring Around The Rosie”
Cesar Duran vs. Alex Hammerstone
Duran makes the ring announcer say some disparaging things about Hammerstone, then Duran dares him to wrestle with one arm tied behind his back. Duran starts the match wielding a chair, then Richard Holliday and Alicia Atout come to the stage before things get underway. Holliday says this whole thing is a farce and he should be the only one wrestling Hammerstone for the title. Holliday kicks Hammerstone in the stomach and stomps on him in the corner, then Mads Kruegger and King Muertes come join the attack until the Von Erichs make the save. Duran says they’ll pay for this, then sets up a trios match featuring Hammerstone and the Von Erichs against Holliday, Muertes and Kruegger.
