The May 27 episode of WWE SmackDown will feature a six-man tag team bout.
On the May 20 episode, Xavier Woods defeated Butch in the latest chapter of a lengthy feud between their respective teams. After the bout, Butch attacked Woods when Sheamus and Ridge Holland distracted him. Woods’ tag team partner, Kofi Kingston, was absent on Friday, and he’ll be back in action next week.
But their New Day stablemate, Big E, is currently sidelined with a neck injury, so the duo is outnumbered. For this reason, later in the show on Friday, Woods announced that he will call on a mystery partner to join him and Kingston to face Holland, Butch and Sheamus next week.
