HOOK-Hausen will be in action at AEW Double or Nothing: The Buy In.
On the May 11 episode of AEW Dynamite, Danhausen made his AEW in-ring debut when he faced Tony Nese in a singles match. The two stars have been feuding in recent weeks, and “The Premier Athlete” aimed to make an example out of the “Very Nice, Very Evil One” on Wednesday. Thanks to a distraction from “Smart” Mark Sterling, Nese defeated Danhausen in roughly ten seconds. When he continued to attack the fan-favorite after the match, HOOK came to the ring to make the save.
HOOK has rejected Danhausen’s attempts to build a friendship between the two throughout the past several weeks, but he finally shook the face-painted star’s hand on Wednesday.

AEW subsequently announced that Danhausen and HOOK will face Nese and Sterling on The Buy In ahead of the pay-per-view.
