The May 10 episode of NWA Powerrr was headlined by a buzzworthy six-man tag team bout, as NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion Matt Cardona team up with Mike Knox and VSK to face Nick Aldis and the Commonwealth Connection.
Plus, Matt Taven, Kamille, and the Dirty Sexy Boys also competed.
The results are as follows:
- The Commonwealth Connection got some promo time; ahead of the six-man tag team bout in the main event, Doug Williams discussed his history with Nick Aldis and vowed to take down The Cardonas tonight.
- NWA World Women’s Champion Kamille defeated Paola Blaze in a non-title bout
- Matt Taven cut a promo and made it clear that he wants to win the tag titles with Mike Bennett, but he also has his sights set on the NWA Worlds Heavyweight Championship.
- Matt Taven defeated Judais via disqualification; Gags the Gimp and Sal the Pal helped Judais beat Taven up after the bout, but The Briscoes made the save.
- In an interview, NWA World Television Champion Tyrus discussed his upcoming title bout with Mims and said he’s impressed by the challenger.
- The Dirty Sexy Boys (Dango & JTG) (with Angelina Love) defeated The Miserably Faithful (Sal the Pal & Gags the Gimp)
- The Pope cut a promo and expressed his desire to discuss Trevor Murdoch’s recent behavior with the former champion next week. He noted that they both have had bad luck lately, as they lost their title matches to Matt Cardona.
- #1 Contender’s Match for the NWA World Women’s Championship: KiLynn King defeated Chelsea Green and Jennacide
- Nick Aldis and the Commonwealth Connection (Harry Smith and Doug Williams) defeated Matt Cardona and the Cardonas (Mike Knox and VSK) with Chelsea Green
