Ezekiel: If I Had To Guess, Elias Is Out There Doing A Little Bit Of Soul Searching And Music Playing

Ezekiel says he isn’t sure where Elias is, but feels as if his older brother just had to get away for a bit.

Wednesday’s episode of WWE’s The Bump featured an appearance from Ezekiel, who is definitely not Elias. Ezekiel was asked where his brother is, and he said that they haven’t spoken in some time, but he thinks his brother is doing some soul searching and playing sets somewhere.

“It’s not like I talk to him all the time. If you guys remember, Elias is a bit of a drifter, he comes in and out, you never really know what he’s going to do. If I had to guess, he’s just out there doing a little bit of soul searching, a little bit of music playing. Maybe playing a little bar here and there,” Ezekiel explained, “playing shows like that to keep himself entertained. I haven’t talked to him all that recently but that’s my guess as to what he’s doing.”

Ezekiel was then asked about Kevin Owens’ allegations that he and Elias are one in the same, and Ezekiel explained that he has a bond with his brother and thinks he just needed to step away and get a new perspective on things.

“Well listen, I love my brother. To anybody out there that has a brother, there’s really no bond like a brother’s bond. I can tell you as a fan watching Elias, it was like no matter what he did or what he tried, it was like he couldn’t break through to that next level. I wanted him to so bad, and then knowing him personally in that time,” Ezekiel noted, “I know that it really bothered him and he had to get away for a little while.”

On a lighter note, Ezekiel spoke about watching Elias’ work as a fan and shared some of his favorite matches from his brother’s career.

“I love to watch Elias wrestle, I was his biggest fan. I’ve gotta say that when he wrestled Seth Rollins for the Intercontinental title, or he had this match with Roman Reigns on Monday Night RAW this one time, I just loved it. When he just gets in there with the big guys and the big names, it’s fun to watch.”
