Kaun: I’m Excited To Work With Tully Blanchard, He’ll Help Take Me To The Next Level

In the aftermath of his appearance at ROH Supercard of Honor, Kaun has reportedly signed with All Elite Wrestling/Ring of Honor.

At ROH’s first show under Tony Khan’s ownership, he was introduced as a member of Tully Blanchard Enterprises alongside Toa Liona, and the duo defeated Cheeseburger and Eli Isom.

In an interview with MuscleManMalcolm, Kaun expressed his excitement about working with Blanchard; he noted that his association with the legend makes him a “top guy.”

“Like he said, we called him up, he said he could take us to the next level, and he said he only works with top guys,” said Kaun. “So I’m a top guy. So he’s taking us to the next level, we got Brian Cage and Toa [Liona], I’m excited.”

When asked whether he indeed put pen to paper with AEW, the former ROH World Six-Man Tag Team Champion offered a vague response.

“I signed some documents,” said Kaun.

As for what his alliance with Blanchard means for Shane Taylor Promotions, Kaun stated that STP is his family, but he had to capitalize on the opportunity the legend presented him with. Kaun went on to explain that he’s been working hard, and he is starting to get the chance to shine.

“It’s still kind of surreal to me,” said Kaun. “I feel like I’m just still kind of grinding, but I’ve had this mentality as of late, Michael Jordan, ‘The Last Dance’. I’m trying to be one of the greats, and I’ve been working my ass off this past year. Now opportunities have just been coming to me, and I’ve been taking them. I’ve been working hard.”

Time will tell what the future holds for Kaun in ROH and/or AEW.
