Adam Cole will get another shot at the AEW World Championship on the April 15 episode of AEW Rampage.
On the April 6 episode of AEW Dynamite, Cole faced Christian Cage in a first-time-ever match and defeated the former world champion in a hard-fought battle. In the end, Cole thumbed Cage in the eye and hit the Boom for the win.

After the match, reDRagon attacked Cage, and Jurassic Express made the save. Cole was left alone in the ring as the two teams brawled, and AEW World Champion Hangman Page stormed to the ring. When Page refused to fight Page until he got another chance at the title, Hangman agreed to give it to him so he could punish his rival. He then told Cole he’d defend the gold against him next week on Rampage in a Texas Death Match.

Cole previously challenged Page for the title at AEW Revolution in March and came up short. The two men continued to feud after the pay-per-view, with Cole calling Hangman’s win a “fluke” and vowing to win the gold the next time around. He later stole the championship belt, but Page took it back the following week.
