Reality of Wrestling has postponed its WrestleMania week events in Dallas.
Booker T’s Reality of Wrestling has announced the postponement of its ‘Texas Showdown’ shows, which includes the Sherri Martel Classic and Texas Legends events on March 31 and April 1.
From Reality of Wrestling:
Due to unforeseen circumstances we are rescheduling the Texas Showdown Event, Texas Legends & Sherri Martel Classic. The new dates will be announced once we have rescheduled and confirmed with talent. All tickets will be refunded through Eventbrite within the next few days.
We apologize for the inconvenience and look forward to putting on these great events at a future date.
Booker T recently spoke with WrestleZone about the events, explaining that he’d hoped to shine a light on women’s wrestling and Texas wrestling’s past with the lineup.
“There’s so many Texas legends that don’t get the recognition that I think they should get. Those guys were the carpenters that laid down that foundation for guys like myself and my brother to actually get into the business. Sherri Martel was the legitimizer for Harlem Heat and we wouldn’t have made it as far as we did without her. So, to honor the past, I think that’s what this WrestleMania weekend is all about for Reality of Wrestling and World Class Championship Wrestling.”
