FTR is aiming to prove that they’re the best there is, the best there was, and the best there ever will be, and this quest will continue on the March 30 episode of AEW Dynamite.
On the March 23 episode, Dax Harwood opened the show when he faced CM Punk in a hard-fought bout. During the contest, Austin and Colten Gunn of the Gunn Club talked some trash from their seats at ringside; in doing so, they briefly distracted Harwood. After Punk defeated the latter, the young Gunns mocked FTR. Shortly thereafter, a fired-up Harwood and Cash Wheeler threw down the gauntlet for a tag team bout between the two duos on next week’s episode. They called Austin and Colten “spoiled boys” and vowed to beat some respect into them.
If it's one thing #FTR can't stand, it's "spoiled boys" & invites #GunnClub (@coltengunn & @theaustingunn) to show up next WEDNESDAY on #AEWDynamite to prove otherwise.

Later in the show, the broadcast team confirmed that Darby Allin will face Andrade El Idolo in a singles match next Wednesday. The two men have been feuding for several weeks, as Andrade has hoped to bring Allin into the fold as his new assistant. The former TNT Champion has refused and opted to fight the head of Andrade Family Office instead. On the March 23 episode of AEW Dynamite, Allin, Sting and The Hardys defeated Andrade’s stablemates The Butcher, The Blade, and Private Party in a wild eight-man tornado tag team bout.
The card is as follows:
- FTR vs. Gunn Club
- Darby Allin (with Sting) vs. Andrade El Idolo (with Jose)
WrestleZone will have full coverage of the show when it airs on Wednesday.
