Nick Wayne Accepts AEW Contract Offer At DEFY Event On 2/12

Nick Wayne is apparently “All Elite”, as he has accepted a contract offer from the promotion.

At DEFY Wrestling’s “Year 5” event on February 12, Darby Allin came to the ring after Wayne’s match with Christopher Daniels, AEW‘s Head of Talent Relations. The former TNT Champion offered Wayne an AEW contract, and he accepted it.

AEW hasn’t officially announced the news, but Bryan Alvarez of F4WOnline reported that because Wayne is 16 years old, his deal is “along the lines of an apprenticeship”, but it will be a full-fledged contract once he turns 18.

Wayne seemingly commented on the development by tweeting, “All Elite” the following morning.

AEW’s new “apprentice” regularly competes for DEFY Wrestling and Game Changer Wrestling, among other promotions.
