Jarrett is a former NWA Worlds Heavyweight Champion; he memorably held the gold during its days as TNA Wrestling’s top title. He recently returned to the ring at GCW’s major event, “The WRLD on GCW”, which was held in the Hammerstein Ballroom. There, he defeated EFFY in his first match since 2019.
The Crockett Cup is one of the most prestigious tournaments in the wrestling world, and this year’s edition will be the first since 2019 due to the COVID-19 pandemic. The Briscoe Brothers, the British Invasion, La Rebelión, and Strictly Business are set to compete.
